Apple to Test Waters Of TV Streaming Service
BANGALORE: The world is baffled with Apple’s success in whatever mastermind the company comes up with. Apple is growing big time seizing the market with huge sales and is predicted by analysts to sustain the growth.
The leading tech company has a certain obsession of keeping the plans of its upcoming products a secret. The company is racing ahead of its competitors sending its customers on an adrenaline rush by unveiling a dint of their future ventures.
Yet Apple’s next endeavor is building buzz for streaming content for Netflix-style streaming TV service, reports The Economic Times. The viewers will be offered “bundles” of programming instead of the conventional structure of 200 channels as other TV providers.
Apple is reported to get the ball rolling by disclosing the programming model to potential content owners. The deal is still in its budding stage where aspects of profit sharing and service charges are yet to be considered.
Probably, the company would come out with this service as Dish Network and Sony plans to have programmers telecasting live TV shows besides trending videos.
Apple possibly wants to utilize the podium where advertisers can keep a tab on the success of their ads.
Apple has finally made its way to the TV station market, with its Apple TV box that streams the content on internet to the TV viewers. However, it didn’t bear fruits for the company.
As for now, Apple is keeping mum to comment on the latest plans.
