AI and VR to be the Future Trends

BENGALURU: As part of the technological evolution, Artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) is gaining traction. The internet is being shifted from a predominately text-based source of information to a whopping 70 percent video traffic. Survey reports by various organizations suggest that VR and AI are the future.

The concept of a manmade creature, capable of learning and behaving by its own has been in priority research for long. Today, as technology is advancing, AI research and development is booming all over the world. According to various reports, 35% of advanced internet users want an AI advisor at work. While one in four would like an AI as their manager, almost half are concerned that AI robots will cause job losses.

Consumers have also started using more automated applications, reflecting the growth of AI as well as encouraging Internet of Things. According to the surveys, car drivers may go jobless in the near future as fully automated vehicles are being developed with AI.

More than half of the VR users believe that it will be impossible to tell apart from reality in only three years while many users are already interested in gloves or shoes that allow interaction with virtual objects. People are also interested in using augmented reality glasses to highlight dangers by illuminating darkness.

Reports also suggest that most of the users seek for a more private VR and AI with encryption standards, while others are in need of better and efficiently performing applications.
