A tool called ‘immersion’ has been developed by Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The function of the tool is to probe multiple accounts only to display its contents as an interactive graphic,with classifying contacts as `nodes' together with connections to other. The growth in the circle determines a larger amount of emails sent by that person and also the immersion providing you a history of emails exchanged between the node and you if you click on any of the nodes.. Overall the inbox will comprise number of email and names of frequent associates which can be viewed easily. Finally meta data from MIT's servers can be deleted easily once the task is completed.

Manage newsletters

“Unroll Me” helps regulate email subscription. When you sign up with your email ID, Unroll me initiates a scan throughout your inbox, and then showing  a web page along with 0ptions that you can choose from to unsubscribe or to ‘Roll up. It then automatically unsubscribes newsletters you opted out off, while you will receive only the 'Roll Up'.

Use a chat platform.

Google + Hangouts, act as a chatting platform that helps Gmail account users to chat away without the usage of emails to do so.Chat platforms are suitable for quick messages between associates or friends and, moreover they do not crowd the inbox with short (Google also saves chat sessions to you google in case to wish to look back.)
