8 Unknown iPhone Features Which Apple Doesn't tell You
# Correct Siri’s Pronunciation
Correcting the virtual assistant ‘Siri’s’ pronunciation was introduced on the iOS 7. The feature enables the user to correct the pronunciation of Siri when it reads out names from the contact list.
The Voice assistant first listens to the way the words are pronounced and then offers some options on that. It asks for the pronunciation of the first and last name of the person, and this task has to be repeated for each contact on the list to change its utterances.
# Format Email Content
The iPhone allows you to format your email content while typing a message. All you need to do is, just highlight the text you want to format, then tap on the option arrow and look for the "BIU" option. Once you have found it just tap on it and select the format you want ranging from Bold, Italics or Underline.
The phone also helps you create shortcuts for the text and it automatically expands itself when you are typing. For instance, ‘BRB’ will be written as ‘Be right back’.
The keyboard can be a little cluttered for many of us changing into Smartphones with touch screens from a normal keypad phone, so this feature helps us save time and avoid mistakes.
