 It is believed that with the acquisition of the Nest, Google intends to play a major role in the IoT sector by predicting a world of all the appliances connected to the Web and auto respond to the users.

8. IBM‘s messaging platform

IBM plays a major role in the Internet of Things sector by offering a range of products. It includes a messaging platform for machine-to-machine data called the message sight, a development platform for apps that manages IoT data called the Blue Mix and many more.
