8. Atlassian

Atlassian is an Australian enterprise software company that develops products geared towards software developers and project managers. As of September 2014, the company has over 1,148 employees, offices in 12 cities, over 40,000 customers and many millions of users.

Atlassian loves to employ people from all different cultures and backgrounds and makes a point to keep all of its global offices. On Valentine's Day of 2014, Atlassian president Jay Simons announced the opening of an Austin office that will eventually employ 600 people.
