Marketing – Drones could take advertising to a whole new level for they can scale heights that traditional billboards cannot making them ideal to grab the attention of people in high rise buildings. Several companies in Russia have already adopted and implemented this marketing strategy. People would have to count on regulations to prevent marketing drones from stealing away the serenity of clear skies and jamming it with floating ads.

Transporting –The first of its kind passenger drones was unveiled this year at the Annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. According to its creators, the one person craft is capable of flying up to 60mph; could be controlled by a tablet; can carry up to 100 Kg and remain airborne for more than 20 minutes. This could well be a first step towards revolutionizing casual transport as we know it.
