Sandy Lerner

Sandy Lerner co-founded Cisco Systems with her then boyfriend (future husband) Len Bosack as soon as she completed her master’s in Computer Science. The company had a major contribution in development of internet routers and software. In February 1990, the company went public and just six months after that Lerner was fired and Bosack resigned in protest against the decision.

The couple later sold of their stocks in the company and went on to start a VC firm of their own.
