New era GPUs sans the 28nm process
Based on the old 28nm process, GPUs were being created by AMD and Nvidia for a long time. In 2014, Intel introduced its renowned 14nm Tri-gate process. Previously in 2012, the Geforce GTX 680 was made using the 28nm architecture and so is the design of the latest GeForce GTX 980 Ti. This course is susceptible to change in 2016.
