Step 1: Voice Calling is an invite based feature. Hence make sure one of your friends have got the WhatsApp calling feature on their Android phone and ask them to call you.

Step 2: The invite works only when your friend calls through WhatsApp feature after that the chat feature goes live on your Android phone.

Step 3: Followed by the feature enabled by  you will notice three separate tabs for ‘Call’, ‘Chat’ and ‘Contacts’ on your WhatsApp home screen. If in case, you don’t get any of the tabs after receiving the call then, probably WhatsApp in device is outdated. So, update the app by visiting Google Play Store.

Step 4: After that you possess the key to enable voice calling feature on your friend’s device.

Step 5: Calling doesn’t charge, unless you are using an internet pack.
