Perhaps, this is one of the oldest tricks of the scammers, but still effective. Starting off with an email stating that the user won a hue amount, later asking to pay some small fees. These scams come from emails, pop-up banners, ads that sends congratulatory messages. If it asks for credit card information or any other payments or registrations, it definitely is a scam. They send a fake cheque and by the time the cheque is deposited in the bank, the scammer removes the money from the account and cheque will bounce.
