#11 Vinod Khosla

Position: founder, Khosla Ventures.

Vinod Khoslawas one of the co-founders of Sun Microsystems, and served as its first CEO and Chairman in the early 1980s. In 1986, he became a general partner of the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, where he remained through the early 2000s. In 2004 Khosla formed his own firm, Khosla Ventures, which focused on venture investments in various technology sectors, most notably clean technology.

#12 Vivek Kundra

Position: EVP, emerging markets, Salesforce.com.

Vivek Kundra is currently the Executive Vice President of Emerging Markets for Salesforce and a visiting Fellow at Harvard University. Prior to this he served as the first chief information officer of the United States from March, 2009 to August, 2011 under President Barack Obama.

He previously served in D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty's cabinet as the District's Chief Technology Officer and in Virginia Governor Tim Kaine's cabinet as Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Technology.
