10 'Worthy To Follow' Futuristic Technologies
Nano-Architecture
A ceramic object if slipped from your hands is sure to break after hitting ground but in a few years the situation will change, the ceramic object will be in the same shape it was even though it hits ground. The reason behind this is behind the doors of Carltech labs where Julia Greer, a scientist is designing ceramic products for which laws of physics don’t apply. The materials that are made here are lighter, stronger than the conventional ceramics which are strong, heavy and also brittle.
The lighter the structures are the more the flexible they are and will be energy efficient. This technology will be available in 3-5 years.
Car-Car Communication
More than a million people are killed in car crashes yearly and in an effort to put a stop to this, car-car communication technology is designed. This technology will let the cars communicate by sharing details like position, speed, steering-wheel position, brake status, and related data to other vehicles that are within the range of 100 meters.
General Motors, University of Michigan and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are presently involved in the project, which will help to reduce traffic clashes in future. This technology will be available within 1-2 years.
