Machine learning Bots:

Microsoft proclaimed a Bot Framework which will act as a platform for developers to create machine learning bots. The bots are built with an Intelligence API especially the Cortana Intelligence Suite, making them behave like digital assistant. The bots will perform task—searching for information, transacting on web and many more. These bots will also be mounted with Skype.     

Cognitive Services:

Microsoft’s Cognitive Services lets the developers build apps with powerful algorithms using just few lines of code. This service works across devices and platforms such as iOS, Android, and Windows. This service integrates Cortana Intelligent Suite along with bot framework, offering better speech recognition, and has ability to identify objects in an image—adds caption to pictures automatically.
