Delete Photos From Your Device Once They are Uploaded:

The photos once stored in Google can be accessed at any point of time, thus you don’t necessarily need to keep your images on the device too. You can check on ‘Assistant’ feature to delete your image from the device once you have successfully uploaded the image on the Google.

You deleted your photo from both your device and from Google? Don’t worry! Google has an option to bring your image back which you have deleted unknowingly. You can just go to the TRASH folder and touch and hold the photo you want to keep and then knock on the ‘Restore’ button. You can restore your deleted images from trash bin for 60 days.
