Cisco is the worldwide leader in networking that designs, manufactures and sells equipments. An inherent part of Cisco’s strategy was using acquisitions and partnerships to gain access to new technologies.

In April, 2014, Cisco Systems announced $150 Million to fund early-stage firms around the globe to focus on the ‘Internet of Everything.’

Cisco is the largest telecom hardware vendor in the world and competes with firms like Alcatel-Lucent, Siemens, Avaya and Juniper Networks, among others.
