Get Kinder, Gentler Pop-Up Notifications

If you are annoyed of the notifications that pop up between work and are not in favor of completely removing them, then you can look up for ‘Gentle Notifications’.

With this instead of ‘pop-up’ your Google Calendar tab or the background will brighten up rhythmically and you will be beeped with a pleasant sound.

You can activate the feature by

# Click on the gear icon

# Click on labs

# Enable the option of Gentle Notifications

Beside this option there are others available to decline invitations, event attachments, year view, background images and some other cool features.

Use This Trick to Access Your Files Offline

Sometimes you are stuck in place where the internet connection is out of reach. While being at these places before turning off your network, check into your account through chrome if not by Google Drive view.

You can access your files offline; make changes to them which will be saved and the mail will be sent when the mobile/ laptop gets in range with the network.
