This year, U.S. office was on news for being attacked by the hackers and admitted that attackers had stolen 21.5 million records of those people who underwent government background checks or otherwise applied for federal employment. According to the Washington Post, the attack originated from China and those cyber-terrorists took a wealth of sensitive data, including security clearance information and fingerprint data belonging to secret agents.

Heartland

Heartland Payment Systems reported that it suffered another data breach earlier this May. The company was earlier hacked wayback in 2008. The first attack was brutal, as the firm lost 130 million accounts, which is e history’s biggest number ofdata loss. The recent hack is about the robbery from the company’s HQ and the burglars took away televisions, monitors and 11 password-protected desktop computers.
