Sony PlayStation Network
In April 2011, the leading virtual gaming platform, Sony’s PlayStation Network (PSN) service was hacked. As a result, 77 million gamers been the victim of this data breach and Sony did not disclose insights about the hack to public. This blow of hack left the Sony’s PSN out of service for 23 long days.
Anthem
Anthem is the second largest for-profit health insurer of United States, earlier this year revealed that the company had lost 78.8 million unencrypted customer records to hackers. The attackers could only get their dirty hands on Names, social security numbers, email addresses and income data. But the financial and medical records were untouched.
