The previous Snapdragon CPUs were criticized for over-heating when the device is used for long or had to perform too many tasks with the outcome being  crashing of phone or lose of battery charge quickly. The new Snapdragon Chip is capable of handling heavy processes and yet stays cool; therefore, the users can perform more tasks for longer as the battery lasts longer.

Goodbye Malware!

The novel feature in Snapdragon 820 is named as ‘Smart Protect’; this feature will scan through the user’s device and alerts the user about possible threats. With the help of Smart Protect, users can remove any malware or spyware that are found inside the phone. Spywares are different than malware, as the pose to be uninstalled yet residing in the phone but Smart Protect can also detect the spywares and help the user get rid of it on the Smartphone.
