M-Pesa is the payment carrier launched by Vodafone back in 2007, it was first launched in Kenya and a very popular payment portal there. The user will be having money in his mobile account which he can carry payments as well as transfer with a little amount of fees levied.

Venmo is the best way to transfer money between friends once you have an account you can redirect back anytime to enter your credit card details. The app is available for Blackberry, Android and iOS users.
