Offline applications
It is possible to use some applications offline in case of network failure. In chrome browser you can install apps as you can on your operating system, but some applications that you install in the browser doesn’t require internet connection to work.
Chrome task manager
As on Windows or any other operating system you have a task manager window from Chrome browser and to activate that press Shift+Esc. The task manager window opens where you can see the number of processes running and the extensions in use; also in case a tab stops responding you can close it right from here.
Chrome as a notepad
Any browser that is HTML 5 compatible can make their browser turn in to notepad, for that you need to enter ‘data: text/html’.
With that your notepad opens where you can scribble in what all you want.
