This free iOS and Android app is now having more than 10million users due to various perks like simple interface, integrating with more 300 apps or sharing content with the ones you want. Here one can read save content and read it offline. Its present upgrade allows easy searching and font options too. The app had begun its journey as Read It Later in 2007, and the name change to Pocket happened in 2012.

The high rise in the use of the app is because it can be downloaded for free iOS without subscribing for The New York Times. Users can request for a morning briefing of local news in the app, by keeping their location mode on. The app is filled with news lined and selected by a team of editors living in three continents.
