Intel Targets a Clean Swipe in Indian Storage Market


The 14 nm Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v4 (up to 22 core/CPU & 44 percent faster) product family comes in with Intel® Resource Director Technology and delivers 70 percent more encryption performance. For fast and reliable data access to the cloud, Intel unveiled new solid state drives (SSDs) optimized for the Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v4 family, enterprise storage and cloud deployments. The Intel® SSD DC P3320/3520 & D3700/3600 series are the first Intel SSDs to use one of the highest density 3D NAND technologies to provide users with a highly efficient, dense storage solution.

Intel has established deep collaborations with hardware and software vendors in India as well as abroad to create an ecosystem that can enable enterprises to efficiently deploy Intel’s enterprise portfolio, and benefit from its capabilities. The ecosystem collaborate Microsoft, Jack Spade, Mirantis, Red Hat, NAVER, Flipkart and Swiss.com. The company also states that it keeps the door open for startups. Furthermore, it proclaims that the new arrivals have reduced energy consumption up to 50 percent and remains eco-friendly by reducing the carbon footprints.
