GENERAL MOTORS, Marry Barra: Marry made history with her appointment as the CEO of General Motors, one of the biggest automobile companies in the world, as the first lady CEO for a Carmaker.

She joins the ranks of Yahoo’s CEO Marissa Mayer and HP’s CEO Meg Whitman, as the lady CEOs of some of the biggest companies in the world.

Her task of taking the reins of the 33 year old car making company has come easy with GM cars having issues with the ignition. On speaking to the congress on the issue, she took full responsibility to resolve the issue. The company and all those eyes that are on her have good faith that she has the necessary skills to take this company back to its former glory.

Home Depot, Craig Menear: Home Depot is an American based company that deals with home improvement and construction products and services. It is located in all the states of America and also has offices around the world. Home Depot will be sad to see the present CEO Frank Blake leave. Frank Blake took the company to new heights with the highest revenues, net profits and also its stock to an all time high record.

On November 1st, Frank will pass on the baton of leadership to Craig Menear, who has been in the retail industry for 34 years. He will have a huge responsibility to carry forward Frank’s legacy as he does his best to create his own. Craig has managed various departments of the retail brand like its supply chain efforts, its online presence and its marketing. He is the President of Home Depot until November.
