This gaming tournament is one of the biggest competitions there are out there in the world. This event happens every year as well and the 2013 edition had prize worth $1 million, where team Fariko, a relatively new team beat Optic gaming, one of the best teams in the tournament and have won quite a few times. Team Fariko Impact took home cash rewards worth $400,000 as the winner of the tournament.

The CPL 2005:

 The Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL), is one of the most exciting tournaments ever because it is a whole year long event which happens around the globe. In the 2005 edition of the CPL the finals was held at New York and Fatality, Johnathan Wendel, won the tournament. Today he is one of the most renowned gamers around the globe. He took home a total prize of $150,000. The total events net prize worth was $510,000.

LoL Season 3 world Championships 2013:

LoL is better known as League of Legends, a seasonal gaming event which has been around for the last couple of years. The popularity of LoL is growing slowly with over 27 million players daily, which is 7.5 million at any given time.

The 2013 edition of LoL World Championships tickets were sold out in an hour, which is pretty impressive for a tournament that is just slowly rising in popularity. The first place was snapped up by a Korean team SK Telecom T1, who took home a cash prize worth $1 million.
