This language is used in multiple web browsers and is necessary for developing animated web pages, games, desktop and mobile applications.  The use of the Java script other than the web browsers are in PDF readers and in some desktop widgets.

Ruby is a programming language, whereas Rails is a software library that extends the Ruby programming language. It is an open source web application framework that emphasizes the use of well-known software engineering patterns and paradigms, including convention over configuration, don’t repeat yourself, the active record pattern, and model–view–controller.

HTML is the standard markup language rather than a programming language, which is used to create web pages. It allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms. It provides a means to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists, links, quotes and other items.
