Expected Announcements At The Microsoft's Oct 6 Event
# Surface Pro 4
One of the best devices that is on the most expected list is no doubt the new Surface Pro 4. Compared with the 2014 version of the Surface Pro 3, the new Pro 4 brings in a 6 th gen Intel SoC chip which makes it much more faster now.
The best part, the device now comes with “Smart Frame” that changes size when used in tablet mode and laptop mode. It will be equipped with the trending Type-c port and will be out after the iPad Pro is released.
# New Lumia Phones
The Company will most probably launch 2 new high-end Smartphones- Lumia 950 and 950 XL. Both the phones show off a Quad HD display, an Iris Scanner and 32GB of internal memory.
The high light is its enhanced 20 MP pure view camera, other than that the dimensions and processor is different on both the phones. A Snapdragon 810 SoC chipset powers the Lumia 950 XL with the 5.7-inch screen on board. The Lumia 950 shows off a 5.2-inch display with being powered by a Snapdragon 808 SoC processor.
Apparently, Microsoft has also planned on launching 3 new mid range Smartphones- Lumia 550, 750 and 850.
