Whatsapp Calling Now Available, Video Calling In The Works

BANGALORE: Whatsapp has made voice calling option available for all the android users a few weeks ago, prior to which it was just for some selected users.

In the early stages of featuring voice calling it is activated only through the invite window which used to be open for a limited time after which one of your friend or acquaintance needs to call you via Whatsapp, reports GIZBOT.

This was how it was activated but now there is no need as it gets activated automatically as soon as you update the version.

Right now the option is only for Android users but work is being done to make it available for iOS users as said by WhatsApp Co-Founder Brian Acton at the Facebook F8 Conference.

With the arrival of calling option the space is adjusted for it to fit in and the chat space really looks enhanced with three tabs for contacts, chat and calls.

Being updated to the latest version is mandatory to activate the feature and the users can also download the new updated version from Google Store or Whatsapp website.

With the voice calling feature on roll giving competition to other carrier companies, Whatsapp is taking its next project on the floors.

The project is to give video calling feature to the user that is going to conjoin with the other three in the tab. The video calling feature is claimed to have enticing live streaming that will get to you back in real time.
