What's In Store For 2015? Here's Everything Apple Will Unleash


BANGALORE: Apple has had a rather successful year with the numerous releases of technology and products that hit the market this year. They topped the market for the highest revenue cap in sales and even beat their arch rival Samsung as the latter saw a total decline. Though Apple has a new rival in the market, Xioami, they are unfazed as the latter company is under fire for patent violations at the moment. Yes, this year was successful for Apple but the coming is expected to be more exciting with a numerous product launches. Here is a list of some of the products as compiled by Business Insider.

Apple Watches:

One of the most celebrated new technologies in the industry is the smart watches that most Tech firms are developing. A few companies have made an early start in the race with releases that didn’t fare well in the market like Microsoft and Samsung for example.

So, when Apple decided to come out with this product line, the world went into frenzy. The watches are said to have the latest technology and will also sport sensors to help keep the wearer informed of their health. It is basically the iPhone around your wrist. This will be one of the products that critics and customers in general will be waiting to judge and review.

The Ipad generation:

Apple’s iPads have been going through various changes in the past year. Well these changes are not about to stop as the company plans to release both larger and smaller versions of the iPad in 2015. The iPad Air series will get a new look with a thinner version of the same called iPad Air 3.

The company also plans to release an iPad Mini 4 which is expected to have a faster processor and a better camera. Hopefully this one will be affordable as well, fingers crossed.

iPhone 6s:

Like all the iPhone numbered series, the latest release will get an upgraded version of the same with better features through the iPhone 6s. The company however will not release any major changes to the device as they plan to release the iPhone 7 in the near future.

Apple’s MacBook Pro:

When looking at the company’s laptop devices, Apple released the MacBook Air which was a sleek and thinner version of the former laptop. In 2015, Apple fans can expect for a thinner and more powerful MacBook Pro, like the MacBook Air but this version will be much faster with more power than the Air. The MacBook Air however is expected to get a “Retina Display”. This will be an addition to most of Apple’s devices.

Apple TV:

The Apple TV is not in the market in India but gracing the homes of Americans. . Out in the U.S the company’s TV service has yet to see an upgrade since 2012, so 2015 is perhaps the perfect year.

Apple’s Store:

Apple launched the Apple pay app this year, well the next version of the same will be released in 2015 under the name Apple Pay 2.o. This new version will offer better and wider product selections. Well this is not the only app, so be on the lookout for more apps to buy the best products from Apple.

iTunes Overhaul:

One of the most exciting music collections and platforms to buy or download music is Apple’s iTunes. This site however, hasn’t been updated in a while in terms of the services and software. This is soon to change as the company’s latest acquisitions, Beats music will be integrated with iTunes to give it a whole new look with amazing services and  options. This will be something that the public will surely be looking out for.

Apple’s Wi-Fi-connected devices: 

Apple’s latest iOS 8 will be upgraded and integrated to suit HomeKit which is a home security related products kit. On integration of the iOS 8, iPhone to Wi-Fi connected devices will allow the users to manage security of the home and also room temperature through the phone. So, all kinds of worry related to robbery or door lock systems will be updated and also notified through the phone.

Apple iMac:

Apple’s desktop computer is expected to get a smaller version from the regular 27 inch iMac to a 21.5 inch iMac. The new will have a Retina Display.
