Microsoft Working On 'People Sense' To Replace Rooms?

BANGALORE: ‘People Sense’ is the new app, which Microsoft is working on at the moment. It works similar to Apple’s Find my Friends app. The app will work among users revealing their real-time location to their selected contacts, reports Firstpost.

The profound information about the app was first flaked on a Spanish blog, Microsoft Place. The blog said, People Sense is codenamed Buddy Aware and it is still in the development phase and the app will allow users to share their location in real time with contacts. Microsoft’s other scheme is to offer mixing with third-party applications for navigation and communication purposes as well.

Buddy Aware will permit users to select a group of friends or family members, termed as ‘trusted circle’ and share their location with that group. The app will also offer an easy access links to friends, in addition to messaging and calling from the app.

Microsoft further improvement process will eliminate ‘Rooms’ feature on Windows Phones in March. ‘Rooms’ feature was introduced to Windows Phone 8 users almost two years ago. People Sense app will allow users to chat in virtual room with their contacts and also share data. This would be exciting to see whether the new app will replace the old feature and how efficient and popular it will be in its futuristic approach.
