Microsoft Windows 10 Preview On Roll, No Update For Pirated Version Users
BANGALORE: Microsoft has announced Windows 10 preview with a new build that bags in a lot of features. The preview version along with being available for customary Lumia phones will also bring in an update to non-Lumia Smartphone i.e. HTC One M8, reports IndianExpress.
The company has clarified that the OS will be made available as a free upgrade but will not be applied for the pirated versions of Windows. Also the company had some dealings like the update of Windows 10 for some of their valued OEM operators. Their old phone can also be upgraded but at a cost and as far the cost has not been specified for a non-genuine user to buy it officially.
According to Microsoft the non-genuine users would be made aware of their software by a watermark and also the non-genuine Windows make you vulnerable risk of malware, fraud, public exposure of personal information and other.
On the Windows 10 operational front, Microsoft has released some new Smartphoneswith an upgraded build. The Windows 10080 build will support for devices such as Lumia 930, Lumia Icon, Lumia 640, Lumia 640XL and HTC One (M8) for Windows.
Apparently, the build features include Windows Store Beta for phones, limited functionality, Universal office apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote Preview apps and a brand new Camera app.
The camera app will not be up to its full functionality for high end devices like 1520, 1020, 930, 830, 640, and 640XL, but using Lumia Camera app will do the trick.
