Lenovo Looks Set To Take On Xiaomi


BANGALORE: In today’s world, where smartphone has become an essential necessity in our lives, thanks to the biggest smartphone manufacturers like Samsung and Apple in the world. Ever since, the competitiveness to become the king in the smartphone has been going on between different manufacturers and now it seems Lenovo is trying to break the records set by Xiaomi. 

Since, its release of the first smartphone in August 2011, Xiaomi has gained market share in China and henceforth, developed wider range of consumer electronics.  Xiaomi surpasses Samsung as China’s top smartphone and has become the fifth largest smartphone maker in the world. It has a market share of 5.10 percent, as of now.

On the other hand Lenovo Smartphones are fashionable and the leading devices in the industry. They feature powerful multicore processors, access to the latest apps through Android, and provide superior display technology. It has a global market share of 5.40 percent in 2014.

Lenovo is all set to create a buzz in the smartphone industry with its new smartphone; the name is yet to be revealed; Lenovo has announced that it will be officially open for business in April 2015, and will focus on branded applications, consumer engagement and, like Xiaomi selling devices online, reports engadgets.com.
