India's Mission To Mars: Most Revolutionary Pieces Of Technology Used

BANGALORE: After the huge success of India’s prestigious Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) or Mangalyaan, India took a seat in the list of elite nations to make it to Mars successfully. This indigenous mission proves that every nation can reach for the stars by making full use of available resources and of course, the best of the masterminds.

From Aryabhatta to today’s Indian Space Research Organization Chairman, K Radhakrishnan, the man responsible to lead the mission, has proved it that science and technology is an inherent art of Indians. With expenditure as less as 450 crores, the cheapest inter planetary mission in the world ever, India’s tryst with Mars is going make a history just as Nehru’s “Tryst with Destiny.”

With Mangalyaan, India is the first nation to launch a successful Mars mission in the first attempt itself. Since the world is now aware of the historic mission, let us go back to the first ever expedition to the Red Planet and learn the significant developments of technology. The chronology of the Mars missions go from Flybys-Orbiters-Landers or Rovers.
