Here's How Iphone 6 Lead-Times Around The World


BANGALORE: From the first wave of countries that Apple made the iPhone 6 available, there has been quite a buzz among its fans about how long they will have to wait for their new iPhone and what could be the lead-time on its websites. But here some good news! Apple has sold more than 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets on its launch, and this shows how supply is matching up to demand, as reported by Forbes.

Ever since Apple made the iPhone 6 available to the first list of countries such as the U.S., UK, Australia, and Japan—countries where the iPhone 6 dominates, the lead-times on the websites for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have stayed the same, i.e, 7-10 business days and 3-4 weeks, respectively. On the other hand Hong Kong and Singapore’s have showed currently unavailable the whole time but it is believed that iPhone 6 can be reserved for pick-up.

From the second list of countries it launched that include Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey and most recently China, it is believed that the websites lead-times in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy and Spain have also been at 7-10 business days and 3-4 weeks for the 6 and 6 Plus, respectively, since October 1. The same trend has continued in Turkey, except the phone’s Space Gray 64GB model, which needed a waiting period of around 3-4 weeks. Taiwan’s lead-times have been at 2-3 weeks and 3-4 weeks, respectively, for the 6 and 6 Plus.
