MICROSOFT, Satya Nadella: Microsoft is one company that does change its leaders at the highest level very often.

Bill Gates was the CEO of the company for over quarter of a century and he stepped down to make way for Steve Ballmer back in 2000. Having taken the reins to run the company in 2000, Ballmer led the company for 14 years and in that time he brought Microsoft success through the gaming console Xbox, moving away from the mainstream PC.

Well this year, Steve made way for Indian-American Satya Nadella, who has been working for the company for over 20 years. He came to the post with a vision to make the company "the productivity and platform company for the mobile-first and cloud-first world," as written by him. It is going to be an uphill task as Microsoft has not ventured much out of their comfort zone. So this is a huge responsibility to place Microsoft with other giants like Google and Apple, in all mainstream software and hardware competitions.
