Google I/O 2015: Standalone Photo Sharing Service May Be Unveiled

BANGALORE: Google I/O 2015 developer’s conference starting on May 28 has been in buzz for quite some time now, as the tech world patiently anticipates what new the web giant would be coming up with. This particular event would witness the launch of Google’s photo sharing service.

The company’s new photo sharing tool will not be connected to Google+ network. The new service by the search engine giant would enable users to post pictures on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter, reports tech2.

The standalone photo service which had been a part of Google+ network would operate independently. In addition to this, Google is also anticipated to come up with new features like Android for Work, next level of Android OS and some new privacy control features on apps and in Android M (the new version of Android OS. Google is also expected to talk about Chromecast and its real-time satellite imaging in connection with its last year’s acquisition of Skybox for $500 million.
