BENGALURU: Apple has just unveiled its iOS 9 with loads of features and upgrades. So, let’s take a detailed look at the announcements on the software which have been developed to take on its competitors and all the trendy features which are on a roll right now as compiled by the ET.

Apple proactive # Apple Proactive

Here’s something similar to Google Now from Apple called the ‘Proactive’. But the Apple’s version is a lot more intelligent and does not list out all the unwanted results like the Google now.

The proactive notifier does not store anything on the cloud but instead scans your email and calendar and alerts you about the schedules. The best part, it finds out more about you when start doing things and keeps you all updated.

Better Security On the iOS 9 # Better Security

Now this is something good, the normal four digit passcode which Apple user have been used to has been altered to 6-digits. This evidently will be difficult to get it right and moreover a two-factor authorization will be in place to avert illegal access.

So, on the new OS if you log in with your Apple ID from any other PC or a get a new Apple device, you will receive a new verification code.  

As far as the devices compatible with the iOS 9 is concerned, the 5th gen iPod Touch, iPhone 4S, 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6 Plus, iPad 2, 3, 4, Air, Air 2, Mini, Mini 2 and Mini.
