From iOS 1 to iOS 9: How Apple's iPhone OS has Evolved
iOS 3 - It was one of the biggest iOS releases Apple pushed out. iPhone OS 3 came with the iPhone 3GS and included new features like voice control; multimedia messaging; Spotlight search; a landscape keyboard; and (finally) cut, copy and paste functions. Video recording had not been supported in iOS until the release of iOS 3.0, however iPhone 3GS was the only iOS device that could take video at that time.
