Facebook Implemented its Wall Less Work Culture for its Mumbai Office


BENGALURU: After opening the first set up In India at Hyderabad, Facebook has established its second office at 1BKC in Mumbai. Additionally, Facebook is planning to set up its another office in Gurgaon by the end of 2016.

The social media giant will serve its all similar functions from their second office as they have done earlier from their previous offices.  Additionally, Facebook will appear in this scenario with a host of trademark conference rooms for deploying virtual communication functionality that will enable them to be connected with its other locations.

The company has decorated its Mumbai zone with the open office culture that includes micro cafeterias and breakout zones. Though, its Menlo Park office considered as the holder of largest open office plan across the world.  Facebook has followed their old wall less work culture while making plans for its new office in Mumbai. They developed a confidential ambiance in its conference room only, by giving it a fully room wise look along with walls. It has been acclaimed that the  Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook also sits on an open desk like the rest of his crew in MPK 20.

The developer of the social network has elegantly fabricated its office atmosphere by arranging casual bean bags, soft toys and stickers all over the place. In the Mumbai office Facebook has crafted funky architecture by sticking decals and hanging boards, among which most of them are filled with ‘Hindi’ words. Therefore, utilizing the strong wall culture, employees can scribble their thoughts and ideas on the wall or white board which is visible from all over the office. A sweet shop has also added in the work area so, that employees can easily treat each other and it is filled with cookies, ice creams and softies.
