Entry Level Smartphones To Sport 4K And Other A-Class Features


BANGALORE: With the latest Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips, entry level phone and mid-tier Smartphone’s are all set to receive a complete makeover in terms of performance, power and features, reports TechRadar.

The San Diego based firms in an act of benevolence is surging flagship features from their finest 800 processor ranges all the way down to its more reasonably priced 600 and 400 models. That being said, the new change with Snapdragon 620 and 618 processors will evidently enhance the Smartphone experience with additional features that include 4K video recording and playback, next generation graphics, better cameras, rapid download speeds and efficient charge technology.

Furthermore, the mid-range handsets are likely to sport A-class features like the QHD displays, which are seen in several topnotch Smartphones. Similarly, it is possible that entry level devices would also get an upgrade like the octa-core processors within this year. 

The Qualcomm has come out with two new chips that are available, namely Snapdragon 415 and 425. The former presents an LTE speed that goes up to 150 Mbps, while the latter can supports data speeds of up to 300 Mbps.

The upgrade is expected to hit phones during the first half this year while the 425, 618 and 620 chips are said to take on the second half of the year.
