Apple to Launch iOS 8.4 And Beats 1 On June 30


BANGALORE: Apple will roll out its new music service, iOS 8.4 and the Beats 1 radio station on June 30 at 8 AM PST/11 AM EST.

The launch dates were revealed in a blog post by Ian Rogers, the ex- CEO for Beats and a current senior director for Apple Music, reports thenextweb.

With this, Apple Music would set its foot in music streaming business competing Spotify, Rdio and Rhapsody, making millions of songs available in every genre. The company would charge $10 per month for this service. Users can get hold of the new music service once they have updated their devices to iOS 8.4.

Apple Music’s 24/7 global radio station, Beats 1 would be launched an hour later of the two previous launches to provide time to users for installation.

Rogers has created a Facebook Event for the launch to remind the users.

Reportedly, the launch of the radio station will conduct an interview of Eminem along with some other guests like Jaden Smith, Pharrell, Cara delevingne, Justin Timberlake, and – surprise – Dr. Dre.
