Apple Watch Rumored to Re-debut With Cellular Connectivity Enhancement

BENGALURU: The worldwide established technology firm for consumer electronics, Apple is planning to add cellular connectivity to the next version of Apple Watch with a faster processor. Apple’s recently introduced watch apps will need to be ‘native’ which signifies that all the apps should be operative on the watch’s hardware without affecting the data from its host iPhone.

Users will get a smooth user friendly experience without any delay that occurs at the time when watch waits for the host iPhone for the new data. The new faster processor may improve the performance and reduce the pain from the slow functionality. Even after with this new approach towards better standard of working, it seems to be difficult to convince the end-users to spend for another plan in addition to their data plan. Considering the two developments, Apple is scheduling to work on another Apple Watch which will be more independent, faster and sleek.

The most common issue in the Apple’s Watch is that it is more of an accessory rather than an actual platform. With the latest plan of adding independent cellular connection, the apps will be able to run on the device by themselves, which can create many options for app developers.

The latest reporting featured in the economic times by Will Price, CEO of Simple Control where he mentions that, "Once the watch apps are able to be run independent from the phone, then potentially it's its own app. But for now, the watch app is clearly a companion, because it literally cannot do anything without the phone."

The next version of Apple watch will be overcoming the shortcomings of the older version in certain fields such as GPS connection where its usefulness becomes unlimited.
