Apple Delays Iphone 6 Launch In India

BANGALORE:  After stimulating every person about Apple’s new launch iPhone6, it has come to light that, the timeframe for availability of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India was not announced, reports Times of India.

The official Apple website first claimed the release on September 26 and later pushed it to October 17. A day later, the date was removed, disappointing consumers who were eagerly waiting for the new phones.

The real reason is not known, but it is possible that Apple removed the launch date after awaiting supply delays for one or both the new iPhone models.

Pre-orders for the phone will start from September 12 in the U.S., UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, and Singapore,  shipping after September 19.

Apple would hate the phones to go out of stock soon after launching them, so they want to make sure there are enough stocks to satisfy consumers, before taking the new iPhone to other countries.

There have been reports of Apple facing production issues with the iPhone 6 Plus, causing it to release the phone in limited quantities due to component shortages and display issues.

Unlike previous launch events, Apple did not go into details of the iPhone's launch in different markets. Instead, it just mentioned the end-of-the year release. The larger screens make the new iPhone a major upgrade, regardless of the phone being an evolutionary upgrade.
