BENGALURU: The internet giant, Google, has started to push the new Android 5.1 update to compatible Smartphones. Apart from new material design, there are many changes in the new Android 5.1, which increases security, performance, and stability. There is something for everyone in the new Android and let us look at five of these features that comes bundled along with Google’s new OS, as compiled by TOI.
Silent Mode
In the previous versions of Android, Google took away the silent mode. The sad thing was, we could no longer receive LED notification without putting the phone on vibration mode or sound mode. Now, Google has included a silent mode back in Android 5.1.
