Android 7.0 To Come With a Virtual Reality Support

BENGALURU:  Google Android’s latest 7.0 version commonly known as Android N is all set to be released later this year. The Developers Preview which is now available for users to install handing out a sneak-peak of the features that Android users can expect from this latest version. Apart from the new set of emojis, the new Android version also supports new Virtual Reality (VR) for the applications reports, tech2.

Apparently, the apps that will run on the Android 7.0 will enlist themselves as a “VR Listener” or “VR Helper”. Android N’s VR is expected to work the same way as the “Notification Access” screen of an Android Wear. The VR assistant administration screen will demonstrate a run-down of applications that connects to the Application Programming Interface (API) allowing users authorize the app or reject it too. The VR administration notifies the user with the application name which can run the application on a virtual reality mode.

However, Android N is clearly a forerunner to the huge VR push target that Google intends to reach. Based on rumors and reports, Google is expected to be working on a VR headset that does not need a Smartphone or a computer to work on. On the other hand, the best guessed features of the VR headset is that it can switch off the Smartphone’s home screen lock when viewing VR content through the headset.
